Privacy policy
This policy explains what Junk Removals Austin collects when you use this website, why, and who receives it.
What we collect
- Your portal request: your name, phone, the email address of the Google account you sign in with, the street address and ZIP code, the items, the amount, the timing, your description and access notes, your photos, and the versions of the consent and photo-quote terms you accepted.
- What happens on your request in the portal: quotes, your answers, messages, and a dated record of each step.
- If you used our earlier request form: what you typed into it (name, phone, email, ZIP code, items, amount, timing, notes) and your consent choice.
- How you found the site, recorded on your first visit: the referring page, campaign (UTM) tags and ad click identifiers if present, and a visitor cookie that links your visit to your request.
Why
To get your request quoted by junk removal companies, to run the job through the portal, and to review it afterwards.
Portal requests and photos
- Companies we invite to quote on your request see your photos, the address, the job details, and your first name. They do not see your phone number or email.
- Only the company whose quote you accept also sees your full name, phone number and email address, so it can do the job.
- Companies that are not invited, or whose quote you did not accept, cannot open your request.
- Your photos are stored in our own database. They are shown only inside the portal, to you, to the companies above, and to Junk Removals Austin staff who review jobs. They are never used anywhere else.
- We remove location data (such as GPS tags) from photos when they are uploaded.
Who receives it
The junk removal companies described above, and nobody else. We do not sell your details.
How long we keep it
We keep your request, its photos and its history for as long as we need them to run and review your job and to keep a record of what we shared and with whom, and we delete them when you ask us to.
Asking for deletion
Write in the messages on your request in the portal and say you want your details deleted, or see the contact page. A company that already had your details for a job it accepted holds its own copy; ask it directly as well.
